A longtime Colorado soccer official. Stone, who was born in England and emigrated to the United States in 1912 at the age of 20, served as secretary-treasurer of the Rocky Mountain Soccer Football Association from 1936 to 1941. He helped to reorganize that organization into the Colorado State Soccer Association in 1948 and served as its president until 1954 and its secretary from 1963 to 1968. Became president of the Colorado State Soccer League in 1968. Inducted in 1971.
