A coach with a highly successful record in both college and professional soccer. Schmid has been head coach of three MLS teams, the Los Angeles Galaxy, Columbus Crew and Seattle Sounders, coaching the Galaxy to an MLS title in 2002, the Crew to an MLS title in 2008 and the Sounders to three consecutive U.S. Open Cup titles. Earlier, his teams had won the NCAA championship three times during his 19 years as coach at UCLA. Inducted in 2015.
