President of the United States Soccer Football Association from 1948 to 1950 and manager of the United States team at the 1950 World Cup in Brazil. A former player with Ben Millers of the St. Louis professional league, Giesler rose through the ranks of Missouri soccer administrators after retiring as a player, including serving as chairman and secretary of the Missouri Soccer Commission. Inducted in 1962.
