Forward who played alongside Ed Souza, to whom he was not related, in the victory over England in the 1950 World Cup. Souza played 16 full internationals for the United States, including the game against Scotland before a crowd of 107,765 in 1952. He represented the United States in the 1948 and 1952 Olympic Games, and he won a U.S. Open Cup title in 1947 and National Amateur Cup titles in 1946, 1947, 1948 and 1951. Inducted in 1976.
