Joy Fawcett

Defender who played for the United States in four Women’s World Cups, winning two of those, and three Olympic Games, winning two. Fawcett played in the U.S. Women’s National Team from 1987 to 2004, accumulating a total of 239 caps. She started 39 of the 40 games that the United States played in her four World Cups and three Olympics. She also played three seasons in the Women’s United Soccer Association, and was a Women’s United Soccer Association all-star in 2003. Inducted in 2009.
