Often called the greatest woman soccer player of all time, was a key member of the United States teams that won the Women’s World Cup in 1991 and 1999. She scored 10 goals in six games at the 1991 Women’s World Cup, including both American goals of the United States’ 2-1 victory over Norway in the final. In 1999, after having moved back from forward to a more defensive role, she anchored the American midfield throughout the tournament. Inducted in 2004.
