Forward who played 10 seasons in the North American Soccer League and was among the league’s leading scorers. Child played 245 games for five different NASL teams. Six of those seasons were with the San Jose Earthquakes, for whom he played 149 games. Child’s 102 NASL goals ranked him fifth all-time in the NASL. He was chosen as a first-team NASL all-star in 1974, a season when he led the league with 15 goals. Inducted in 2003.
